Primal Day 2

Breakfast consisted of our normal The Ultimate Green Smoothie.


Paleo journey begins today!

For lunch we had a steak, spinach, tomatoes and egg omelet with a side of beef bacon. Depending on how strict your version of Paleo/Primal is you could add some cheese to this as well and may want to eliminate the bacon.


Primal Day 2

For dinner we had crockpot roasted whole chicken (the only way to cook chicken as far as I'm concerned), a side of sautéed zucchini and broccoli with an arugula side salad. I modified this for myself and had the chicken on top of an arugula salad with sunflower seeds and cheese with balsamic and olive oil dressing.





So there you go, day 2 is in the books. I do feel we need to become more balanced and add even more veggies to our diet. The other thing that I know we need to do is improve our sleep cycle, which is really hard for us to do since I am a server right now and often work late nights. But how and when you sleep is very important to the primal lifestyle...working on that one...
