The Hunger Games Official Trailer 2012

The Hunger Games (if you didn't already know) is one of the best book series that I have ever read. If you haven't read it yet, go and get it here... and read it as soon as you can. I couldn't put it down!
Have you read The Hunger Games?

The Dark Knight Rises Official Trailer 2

This looks so amazing. I loved Batman Begins & The Dark Knight and thought they were 2 of the best superhero movies ever made!

The Dark Knight Rises, The Avengers and The Hunger Games are the three movies I am most looking forward to in 2012! Thought the new Spiderman looks pretty good too.

Which movie are you most looking forward to this summer?

G.I. Joe: Retaliation Trailer

I was very much disappointed with the first one, here's to hoping they improved on this one...I mean it has Bruce Willis in it, has to be better right?
Do you think this one will be better than the first G.I. Joe?

Men In Black 3 - Official Trailer

Men In Black 3 is coming next spring. Preview looks entertaining, though as far as Will Smith goes, I'm still waiting for Independence Day 2!
Do you think that MIB 3 will be a good movie?

QUADLOCK (Kickstarter Project)

This is an awesome idea. Speaking of awesome ideas, Kickstarter is an awesome idea!

Sean Quigley - Little Drummer Boy

This is just awesome, and Little Drummer Boy is one of my least favorite Christmas Songs!

The Ultimate Green Smoothie

A few months back I started making a green smoothie for my wife's breakfast. We were hoping it would help with her Erythromlalgia. And where I do think that it has been part of improving her over all body health which in turn has at least somewhat helped her Erythromelalgia, it has not cured her. Anyway's my initial reaction to the shake was, man was it disgusting looking but if it helped, we were all in....then I tasted it and it has been my breakfast almost every day for the last 5 months or so. It is just so good! Oh and it's healthy too...

Here is how we make our Ultimate Green Smoothie.

Ingredients for two 24oz shakes

1.One whole lime - feel free to add another one if you want it super limey

2.One whole ripe avocado - this make the shake nice and creamy

3.One big handful of spinach leaves

4. Four 1/3-1/2 full droppers of Stevia Clear Liquid - you can get it at WholeFoods but I've found its almost half the price on Amazon.

5. 1 scoop Amazing GreenSuperFood- you can get …

Awesome Cyber Monday TV Deal

UPDATE 2: It appears that the deal is back on as of 3:33PM on Tuesday 11/29/11 - I don't know how long it will last this time, but it is back for $525 as of now!

I love my Panasonic Plasma TV's, I have a 42" in the bedroom and a 60" inch in the living room. And when I just saw The Panasonic VIERA TC-P42S30 1080p Plasma HDTV for only $525 today, I had to at least bring it up!

And while this TV may not be the top of the line it is a really good TV for an awesome price! If you are looking for a TV in the five hundred dollar price range then look no further!

I have had my 60" Panasonic for a few months and my 42" Panasonic for a few years and have had zero problems with either of them, and the Plasma TV picture quality is amazing. And my delivery experience through Amazon has always been great.

There are many debates on how much you really need to spend on and HDMI cable, as they can be quite pricey. However, I'v…

The Best iPhone Case

A little back story on my iPhone case journey. I am not an easy person to please when it comes to my iPhone cases, through the different versions of the iPhone and continuing with the iPhone 4, I have gone through no less that a dozen different cases. I wanted something that looked good, protected my phone good, and was not bulky at all.

Thankfully after years of searching I have finally found my perfect case, a case that I have finally stuck with longer than a week. The perfect combination of a slim minimal look, pretty decent protection & a price that be can’t be beat.

What is this perfect case, it is the elago S4 Slim Fit.  So why do I love this case. For starters it’s about $10 bucks on Amazon and comes in about a dozen different colors, so you have a lot of choices, and for what you would normally pay for a normal case at the Apple store you could get three different colors to match your changing moods, if that's what you're in to.

Yes the case is on in this picture

New Kindles Announced Today

Amazon announced the new Kindle, Kindle Touch and Kindle Fire today and they all look like excellent devices. Since my post on the Amazon Kindle vs Barnes & Noble Nook the eReader landscape has continued to evolve. In May Barnes & Noble updated their Nook eReader, this simplified it, streamlined it and without a doubt made it the best eReader on the market since it's release. That changed again today.

While it the new Kindle Touch may or may not be better than the Nook Simple Touch, it in the least puts it at the same level technology wise (we will know more once we get our hands on one). The biggest feat is that Amazon manages to get you the Kindle Touch at a starting price of only $99 for the add supported version. I'm gonna be honest, I had a lot of reservations about the ad supported Kindle (and still do) because I was under the impression that ads would be popping up while you were reading. However, I learned today that the ads are put on the eReaders screen saver…

My 2011 Choice for a Plasma TV

OK, I’ve decided to post about picking out my new plasma TV. This is not a post regarding LCD/LED VS Plasma technology, as I made the decision a few years back and continue to hold the view that plasma TVs give you a better viewing experience unless you have the sun blasting directly on the screen. I understand that many people have strong views on the LCD/LED VS Plasma discussion but it will not be the purpose of this post.
I am going to talk about my project to get a new plasma TV. I am not a professional reviewer, but I enjoy technology and enjoy finding the best deal possible while combining that with getting the best technology in my price range. Because of this I enjoy the challenge of researching countless forums while also watching and reading every review I can find on the TVs that I am looking to possibly purchase. Here is where I will share the results of my search. Maybe it will help you pick out your TV and save you some time in the process.
In the world of plasma televi…

The Great Kitchen Purge

So, as I've mentionedbefore, we are trying to eat healthier. Tracey is on the The pH Miracle diet to hopefully cure or at least help her EM. And me? Well, I'm doing it to support her while knowing that it will be better for me, too.

Yes, I know it does not look that bad, it's because I started purging it a few days ago!
But, while I want to eat healthy (wanting is different than doing), we have a lot of not-so-good-for-you food left in the house. I feel bad just chucking it, so as I phase in my part of the healthy eating, I will phase out the other food in the house.

Over the next few weeks, I will be eating everything that isn't super unhealthy. (The twinkles, sadly, are already trashed). This will include cleaning out the fridge, freezer, and pantry to make room for more healthful food options.

Let the Great Kitchen Purge begin!

When/if you started eating healthy, did you find it hard to get rid of that bad-for-you stuff? Any suggestions on successfully succeeding wi…

Homemade Soup at 10PM

Making Tracey some homemade soup for her veggie diet (we ran out of the stuff I made on Thursday), of course I decided to wait till 10PM.

Any suggestions on good veggie/ vegan soups?

The Juice Diet Has Begun (Day 1)

As I mentioned in an earlier post on Erythromelalgia (EM), our next step to treat my wife's Erythromelalgia is to try the The pH Miracle, a diet based on the idea that the PH levels of our bodies are out of whack based on all the crap that we eat, like processed sugars and such. The idea is that this imbalance is what causes us to get sick in various ways like EM and with things like cancer.

The idea is that by doing this diet it restores the PH levels of our bodies to where they should be and thus promotes natural healing. After reading the book the concept and idea do seem to make sense, and in the least it can't hurt her more. After all she will be eating veggies mostly.

So where did I hear about this book and diet? I was shopping in the Whole Foods across the street from my house and randomly started talking to a guy in there about how hard it was to find foods without any sugars or dairy and other crap in it (See my post on things we thought might be helping). He proceed…
